Mission
The College of Sciences Graduate Student Advisory Council (GSAC) provides a pathway for students to engage directly with college leadership. The council elevates student voices and helps to inform decisions that affect the graduate student experience. Through this partnership, college leadership gains valuable insight that supports informed advocacy and action at the school, college, and Institute levels.
Membership
Leaders of graduate student organizations in the College of Sciences and Graduate Student Government Association (SGA) representatives of the college's schools are invited to participate in GSAC. All graduate students are encouraged to participate in school/program organizations and in Graduate SGA and to bring concerns to their representatives.
Meetings
GCAC meets at least once per semester. Representatives are encouraged to engage with their constituents prior to the meeting to discuss issued that they may bring to GSAC. Minutes of meetings are archived.
